I read a write up in that truck in Car and Driver or some magazine ..that is a little overkill for a focking SUV. I'd rather spend the $125K on a Porsche Cayenne and a Pontiac Trans Am w/ the Ws-6 package ... two killer cars for the cost of one Lac
yeah..why would you want to go over 100MPH in an SUV??? NUTS
Anything that could do a quarter mile in the 12's is cool.
I like my 03 Avalanche better.
The EXT is a pick-up, not an SUV. It is the same thing as the Avalanche, although it looks better, unless the Avalanche looks pretty nice now without the side mouldings and all...those look like ass. Anyways, that EXT is cool. Anything Lingenfelter gets his hands on just rocks.

Ok, does any one else think 12 sec in the 1/4 for 700 hp is absolute SHIT!!! I know people that put talons (yeah I know tey arn't lacs) in the 12's with a total of $4-5k and around 3-400 hp. Now get me a Lingenfelter 427 Twin-Turbo vette and Iwould be happy.
tfin,
that 700 hp isnt pushing a lightweight, areodynamically efficient sports car like a Vette. its pushing a big heavy load through a lot of energy robbing air. this thing is 2.5 to 3 times heavier than your average sports car and is about as aerodynamic as a cinder block. given that, 12.7 in the 1/4 mile is pretty impressive. |
Yeah I under stand that. I was thinking about putting 700 ponies in something that huge. To me it is just sort of a waste, but I am a hard core anti-SUV person. I gues it is neat that they did it, to each his own.
