very nice, i like them rims and the color is the best imo

sixate 07-19-2003 06:44 PM

Nice. I'd lower it first. For some reason I think a car with larger rims looks like crap if it's not lowered.

I always loved those cars. It's one of the best looking cars that Honda ever made.

punx1325 07-19-2003 10:54 PM

My friend is looking at preludes do you have any recommendations.

Like what type of recommendations?? Forums that he can go to or the different types of models?
And yes i know that i need to lower it, sixate! But i need to get a job and more money then i can lower it. Any donations are WELCOME!!

RemyLebeau97 07-20-2003 04:18 PM

Nice Lude, that's my fav. model, love the dash on those.

Deuce66 07-20-2003 05:59 PM

nice =) preludes are fun

Just a thought, did you know that most body kits increase your coefficient of drag? I see a lot of cars that would do better if they had stayed with the stock body. Now, it looks nice, maybe an inch or two lower with the bigger rims, but still good.

Ferrari 07-21-2003 10:41 AM

Ugh, you need to drop it! Get Tein HA coilovers and lower that mofo about 1.5" to 2.0" (don't go too crazy), and it'll look sweet.

The Rogue 07-22-2003 03:00 PM

Great rims but lower it about an inch or 2

Booty Man 07-22-2003 03:25 PM

looks good. Now all it needs is a drop and a mild style kit. :D

satdude 07-22-2003 03:46 PM

cool

07-22-2003 05:03 PM

coo verry nice rims

evo_schen 07-22-2003 10:53 PM

that's a really nice car, clean and nicely put. i would though, love to see a more subtle body kit. the aggressive body kits are a bit played out

marshall26 07-24-2003 12:22 AM

i say get engine work before body work, it's money better spent

rodgerd 07-24-2003 12:52 AM

Nice - I'm generally much of a Honda fan, but the Preludes have pretty consistently had nice designs.

But I'll second the comments about working on the engine if you're doing custom work. Kitting out the body without taking care of the engine just screams ricer.

And the nice thing about Honda is that they do have nice engines to play with...

Took the words right outta my mouth.

I've always liked Preludes, and yours looks pretty sweet. :D

FastShark85 07-25-2003 06:31 AM

Are you planning on modifying the engine?

Scorps 07-25-2003 08:14 AM

Man you love your cars just a little to much.

Peryn 07-27-2003 11:48 PM

They have always looked by far the best of hondas creations, imo.

It just begs to be AWD or RWD though. that fwd just doesn't cut it with though sytling designs.

If i were ever to buy a honda, it would be a prelude with rwd swap, then i think i could really learn to love it.

It's a shame - the Preludes stayed RWD into the 90s, but Honda eventually went FWD with them.

When I was looking at cars a couple of years ago I took out a 91 Prelude; sweet, sweet car, but it was too small; at 6'1" I had my head jammed into the roof. No buy...

newman 07-28-2003 12:27 AM

I actually like the way it looks as-is...but your plans that you've listed on your site lead me to believe it's gonna look like this prelude down the street :\

Preludes were NEVER RWD. They were only FWD.

thepakratjr 07-28-2003 05:09 AM

Nice man!

tfpfreak 07-28-2003 01:15 PM

nice car thanks for the pics

Type-R 07-28-2003 09:18 PM

You NEEEEEED to lower that ASAP. I have NO idea why people buy larger rims without making suspension modifications first...It makes the wheel gap look at least twice as big. Its an optical illusion, generally, with bigger rims, the sidewall dissapears, Since the sidewall is smaller, it makes the gap look a lot, lot bigger, even tho its not much bigger at all. Looks like crap (the rims+wheelgap) the car itself isint alright.
IMO, you'll need a little more go than just a CAI. Nice start tho.

soapysonic 07-28-2003 09:33 PM

Meow, looks really sweet

GameCuber510 07-29-2003 01:39 PM

Very nice car. You should slam it first. But, whatever you do, DO NOT PUT ALTEZZAS ON THAT CAR.

Dont worry I WONT!!! Thats why i did the custom taillights myself. And Type-R, i might even drop in an h22. But if i stay with my f22 then ill get headers, intake, exhaust, and maybe NOS.
