For many years now I've been thinking that if I wanted a big block, I'd get a used one or an aftermarket big block crate motor from one of the multiple sources that will still be available for hot rodding purposes.

I bet the GMPP crate motors will continue since they are profitable and not "regulated" like factory motors installed in new cars, or under buyer pressure for better gas milage.
