It was at Road America this past weekend. That E36 was running in T2, if I recall he didn't do too bad. They handle well but on a fast curcit like RA, you need the power.

Road America ... I've never been there but my dad has done some vintage racing there w/ his 69 AMC AMX that used to run in the Trans Am series
my how track is Road Atlanta but it has been a while since I've been on the track ... I am about to get back into it though |

I need to get a track car ... well I need to talk my dad into letting me convert his E30 325i into a SCCA solo car. I guess it would end up falling into an IT catagory ... but I'd love to be in a higher hp class w/ a Firebird or a Mustang
I got out of it b/c I got married & I sold my track truck ... I used my 1990 supercharged Ford Ranger for autocross events & track days w/ the BMW CCA |
5th pic up. Did you see the aftermath of her crash? For those that weren't there, that's the Viper driven by Deborah Loth. She had a nasty crash - viper looks like it'll take a LOT of repair before they can run it again. They had to wait until the last race was over and flatbed it back to the paddock.

I did see what happend (the aftermath) but not the accident - then, from my understanding, she went and ran SSB (or C) in a Neon :eek:
