My first post here. Not sure if it is tilted.

Can anyone tell me what an Evinrude 115 hp SPL, 2 Cycle V4 outboard motor is worth?

It is a 1998 showing good compression on all 4 between 117-120 psi. It's clean and looks good too.

No water came out of lower unit when I opened the drain plug, however, out came a green colored gear oil with bit of extremely fine silverish mixed in. Hopefully this is normal metal particles from wear? Maybe these are factory additives, I don't know.

dude I wish I knew about outboards .. I run a 89 I/O Merc w/ Alpha drive, sorry
