Supplements?

I never believed in taking supplements etc until a roommate of mine introduced me to the GNC multi vitamins. I thought it was BS but it wouldnt hurt to try. Lost story short, its made a huge difference in my energy level. Its actually noticeable compared to other multivitamins i've tried in the past. He takes other things like flax seed oil, some protein etc. I dont have time to work out lately so im not looking for protein. I dont get many hours of sleep a night (less than 6) and my eating habits are horrible at the moment due to a lack of time. Are there any other supplements that can help boost my energy level? One he recommended was l-glutamine, any info on that one? Most of my searches end up in marketing hype.

As a former manager for a GNC, their vitamins are a rip-off. They do work, they are a great supplement, but this is where I have a problem. The mega-man vitamins retail for 39.99 off the shelf, but do you know how much the store actually pays for them? Less than 3 bucks.

I buy all my stuff at www.bulknutrition.com fwiw

Multi-Vitamins are a must IMO for everyone.

I take a LOT more than that though, I spent $1000 just last week

The best way is to have good sleep hygeine, and exercise. If you find yourself busy, don't nap during the day, and try to squeeze in 30 min of exercise a day. You'll find yourself feeling more alert, fit, and not to mention the health benefits. Sticking to a routine, you will likely get a very restful6 hours sleep each night which is sufficient for most.

Wow, that's really interesting about GNC vitamins. I guess it's good to know that they are good vitamins but there isn't much you can do about the price. I would assume that most retail vitamins have the same mark-up.
