Removing that excess fat from the abs etc...

Well as some of you know im an amateur bodybuilder. I eat very little fat in my diet and mostly just a protein rich diet, but I still have my 'padding' even tho I know my muscles are huge underneath. Anyone know a good way to remove said padding from my abs, pecs etc?

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star!

One simple thing you can do is exercise the rest of your body. Lean muscle mass burns more calories than fat so you are on the right track. Adjust your cardio work to 20 - 30 minutes three to maybe four days a week first thing in the morning. Wait an hour to an hour and half after your cardio to eat. This will allow the residual bump in your metabolism to use the excess fat. Also....no calories inside of an hour before bed time. This will end up right around your hips.

Search this forum for posts by Plan9. You'll find some really good advice.

There is also a book and web site out by Shawn Phillips who is pictured below. He knows a little something about great abs!

Here is a link to his site: Best Abs
