Worst FU*KING date ever!

I swear I just came home for the worst date ever. I asked this young lady out a couple of days ago and she agreed.....cool ...she seemed nice and was very attractive.

Anyhoo, I was raised to treat women with respect and always be a gentlemen. I knew something was wrong the minute we walked out to my car and I opened up the car door for her and she REFUSED to get in, she stated she could get her own door that she did not need a mans help(I should have bailed then) I explained this is how I was taught and it's a force of habit.

We sit to eat and during dinner she gets up and so did I, she then asked if I was going to do this all night and I replied "what do you mean" she said never mind and walked to the ladies room. When she returned I again get up out of my seat and wait for her to sit down and she went BALLISTIC and said " Listen you're not impressing me and if you think your going to get laid by doing this stupid nice guy shit it won't work" Half the people in the restaurant heard this and I felt like a complete ass. She sat her ass down and explained that she is a woman that does not like to be treated like a little girl, I explained that I am a man and that was not my intentions and she did not have to freak out the way she did and I was just being myself. The check came and I was almost afraid to pay for her thinking she would go the fuck off again.....she did not, but then grilled me for 15 minutes about how I should have asked her if it was ok to pay for her meal...............WTF?? I explained that I asked her to dinner and I felt that I should pay and that I would never allow a woman to pay...........CASE CLOSED and maybe she should just say thanks and leave it at that.

We went to the car(you know whats coming don't ya?) and I forgot about the door thing and she stood there and would not get into the car and chastised me for opening her door up again and told me that I should clean out my ears and pay attention next time a woman tells me something. I apologized, closed the passenger door while locking it, got in the drivers side and left her ass standing there while I drove off listening to her scream while I laughed my ass off.

Now....what the fuck is so wrong with opening up a car door or getting up when a lady approaches a table??

Is it me or is this whole world just a little bit out of WHACK??

I would have never left a lady standing and drove off without her.........but this was NO LADY!!

Am I wrong??

Wrong? Yes! You went on a date with a gal that's got more issues than Hustler. Get a gal with some self-respect that understands that an open door is not a threat, its a friendly-frickin' gesture! My god man...It's one thing to be a feminist, but its another thing to get defensive about any "romantic" gesture a man does. She's got no confidence.

while the whole opening door and paying for dinner is somewhat traditional in modern times although it is taught and a force of habit so...this is no fault of your own... but this girl is JUST...maybe she's having her period...but then it must be a pretty explosive case of period for her to be like THAT...goodness...

but what a great ending. ^-^

personally, i would have agreed with her tirades, then gotten her to pay for her share of the bill, and yelled out "YOUR THE WORST ESCORT IVE EVER HAD" if she refused to and stormed out.

I would keep pursuing her too, she sounds like a very interesting individual =)

Nope, you're not wrong KeyserSoze. She was a classless wench.
Keep doing what you're doing. You will find a woman who appreciates a gentleman.

And brilliant ending to the *date.* She deserved nothing less.

Man, I'm sorry, but I've just stopped pissing myself over this..... not for the fucked situation you found yourself in, but for leaving the biatch on the footpath! What a gem.....

You did the only thing you could in such a situation. Any lesser man would've decked her I guess. As for the advice on continuing to persue her, as she seems to be 'interesting'...don't! She sounds like a time-waster, with alot of grief thrown in for free!

That woman just did you a HUGE favour. Seriously, wemon don't want men that will play into them. They don't want guys who open there doors, carry there backpacks and treat them like there on a pedestal. They are looking for MEN, people who take control of the situation, have a life outside of them, aren't avalible at the drop of a dime to do something and don't give in to there every wish. It sounds ridicoulus but what do we always want the most? Whats diffecult to attain. Most young wemon just don't want men that will let her walk all over him. I.E. the standard tests im sure we have all gotten - Iv got to cancel, can we do this later? Here are my keys, go get my jacket for me? .. I.E. Wemon are trying to weed out the boring cookie cutter men and find peopel who are strong (mostly emotionly)

Next time you find an attractive women who you want a number from, tease them, instead of the nervouse "is there any chance I can get your number" They will probaly look annoyed at first but as long as you understand what your trying to do and pull of the fact that your joking you will probaly have much better impression in those first three minutes.

Man, sounds like a great date to me!

I probably would have said something like "You don't need a man's help to get you home!" or something as I drove away, though.

Sorry, but that's piss funny!

At least you didn't come out completely empty handed... i mean, you didn't get laid, but you got a great story out of it.

To every girl that's like this i bet there's 1,000 that appreciate being given a bit of respect. Bet if she tells her friends that story at least one of them will suddenly show interest...

Want to bet she tells the same story?

Who is this girl? Can somebody contact her? I'd love to hear her version of events.

Seriously, I'd have lost it at the paying part - got up, left the restaurant and allowed her to assert her feminine independence by picking up the tab.

Maybe some women are not used being treated nicely.
Maybe some are taking resentment to a new level.
Keep on being a nice guy, you are, what you are,
and like Double said, someday you'll find someone who'll appreciate it.

That's what dating is all about, finding someone who appreciates or tolerates everything you do, good or bad.
And if you're a good guy for the most part.
Then you're going to have to find someone you like, who enjoys that.
It's all a dance, sometimes toes get stepped on.

Well, if she feels so strongly about being treated equally, ask her out again. Treat her just like a friend. Like, go to McDonald's drive-thru, go to an action movie, and then go home and watch hockey with her. Pour beer on her every time your team scores. Tell her she can crash on the couch. Making fun of her during the whole date is also important.

Hey, we've already established that she does not like it when you're polite.

Sounds like I am in the minority here Keyser but I think what you did was the wrong thing to do. If I were dating this woman I too would have opened her doors for her. However, if she felt strong about not wanting the man to do these things for her, I would have stopped. It sounds like she made that clear to you and you failed to listen. She may have had a bad experience in the past where a man would do these sorts of things for her and expect her to do her sorts of feminine things for him. It does sound like she took this to an extreme and I probably would have been put off myself... However, you were the one that failed to listen and respect her wishes. Then you left here with no ride home... Not the classy thing to do in my book. A true gentleman would have respected her wishes and made attempts to understand where she was coming from, not follow a set of archaic (but well meaning) rules. Hope you aren't offended by my criticism, I just feel differently about the whole situation than you obviously did.

That's some pretty messed up stuff, if you ask me. Although, I've not heard of standing up for a lady just leaving/arriving at a table. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just haven't heard of it. The rest of the stuff, she SHOULD have at least had a favorable impression of. Hope things work out better for ya.

I think some women do take feminism way too far. I think ya did the right thing, sounds like more trouble than she's worth. If she didn't like things you were doing at the beginning of the date she should have just bailed herself... but I probably would've done the same thing if I were a guy and in your shoes.

I dated this one guy that was a real prick. Date involved him driving his motorcycle, going to a fast food place and a dollar movie (which he paid for.. but he didn't ask what I would like to do) and him telling me all night long he was getting laid for all the money he spent "on me" that night. After he got the tickets to the movies I just left and told him to go find a 2 bit hooker. Just wasn't my idea of a good time.

My idea of a good time is playing pool, gameworks, actions movies/horror movies and japanese food.

But that's just me. That's all from my edge of the world.

So glad that you left hger standing there.

Some people just have too many issues to even bother getting into. Being nice to someone is just habit. Sometimes I open doors for my friends. Doesn't mean that I want to fuck them.

Just forget that this happend.

oh yeah - one more question though: if she was hot, don't you want to "Hate-Fuck" her in the ass anyway now?

Thats kida scary if you ask me. I was always all about the nice guy stuff and still do with my girlfriend and we have been going out for almost a year.

That girl sounds like the do it herself type that would be pissed if you didn't let girls join the army. It's cool and all but everyone has thier own type and she just isn't for you. Kinda sounds like she wanted controversy and not a date. Even if she didn't like it she could have just went along with it and tryed to enjoy what would be considered being pampered to her probably.

heheheheehe, not to be evil but that's pretty damned amusing.

some people are way too independant and go a step further.. she did this.

fuck her. not literaly, i'd hate to offend the bitch, but you know, if you're a bitch then ohfugginwell, you're much better off without her.

my theory has always been... be polite, never ever get where you can't change your habits a little and be you.

some women are easily offended by such matters and want to prove they 'don't need them there men folk!'. at this point you sayd something like 'sorry i am used to doing this, its how i was raised'. if she still intends to be a Feminazi just kick her to the currb. call me lame, but if someone was that rude to me i'd call a cab for her and leave her ass. i don't have time for these little imature twits.

if she were a real person she would had explained with respect. instead, she showed out and created a sceene. some people are totally lack of manners, patience, and respect...

Feminazis suck.

oh yeah: next time I do advise some self control with the opening doors, standing and such. tell her its how you were raised and the proceed to not do it again. she should respect you being a gentleman, and you should respect her for doing things a little differently.

I doubt the cab ride home will do anything to change her attitude. If anything, it'll make her more of a feminazi. All she'll remember is how he "was just trying to get laid with the nice guy bit" and how he left her standing there in the parking lot.
We all know you were just being a gentleman and there's nothing wrong with that. Don't change yourself or how you treat women. I'm sure there's a lot of women out there who would love to have the door opened for them and just be treated like a lady, in general.
