Cost Efficient Hair Removal?
Hi all, I'm pretty new here.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any fairly cheap methods of hair removal (other than shaving) that can keep hair off for a while. Does anyone know any products that actual work? (like those sprays/creams for example). I have fairly hairless legs and back/chest area but my arms have a pretty thick amount of hair on them that really bothers me. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please post them here! |
Nair works.
It can be rather painful if you're not careful, and you may have to go back over it with a razor if you didn't get it all, but it does a pretty good job. Plus, the hair's gone longer than shaving. If you're wanting something more definite, try waxing. As for cost efficiency, I'd say that laser hair-removal, although expensive, is cost-effecient in the long run, since you only have to do it a few times, and hair's gone. |
Nair can be painful?

I've heard that a product called NADS is also effective however I haven't tried it. It's getting to be close to spring time again and I'm dreading the increase in frequency of the shavings. I may give this NADS a try unless anyone else says "not so much" :D

I've used NADS to remove some facial hair. Doesn't work that well. I am able to get some hair off, but the really fine ones are uneffected. It may work with body hair but I've never tried.

I try to keep the area over my tattoos shaved, so that they'll show up better, and decided to use Nair instead one day...OUCH. It was sore with a slight burning sensation for about 3 days, and the red burns/bumps remained almost until the hair grew back. |
