Spinning class

I was thinking of trying a spinning class. Has anyone out there taken one and recommend it or not? Also, what kind of training should I do to get ready of this type of class.

Don't do any training for it. Just go after it. If it gets too hard then you can just slow down. Spinning is one of the best ways to burn calories, and increase your endurance. Definitely try it though, its great.

What is this 'spinning' class exactly?

Please tell me that it's not just spinning around, and that people pay for a 'class' on spinning around.

You have to be in pretty damn good cardiovascular shape to get through a spinning session . Spinning classes are not for beginners.

Basically it is a torture device which spins your legs around and around as fast as possible until your lungs burst through your chest.

Well, I did it. I made it through my first spinning class. It was painful. I was looking around and seeing that I was the worst one in the class, but it is a new challenge. I recommend this class to anyone who feels that they are in good Cardio shape. I think that I am going to try and do it two days out to the week. It all depends how my body feels tomorrow.

I am feeling extremely tired today from that spinning class yesterday. Therefore, I am only goign to do it once a week until my body gets use to it.
