Good lower back exercises?

I've just gotten into lifting weights, but to be honest, im kinda clueless about a few things. If anyone could point me in the direction of a site or something that has a good plan for lifting, or could post here or PM me or something, I would mucho appreciate it.

Sorry if this is a repost, I did a search and didnt really find anything. If there is a post, just put a link and lock this thread. Thanks!

Reverse situps. Not really sure how I should explain that, you lay with your waist across a bench and anchor yourself in whichever way you find best.

It is tricky for beginners. Even Arnold had to start somewhere though. I've been a personal trainer for 5 years.
Lay on you stomach, hands behind your head and raise your chest off the floor.
Goodmornings: with no or light weight touch your toes and raise up.
Listen to your back, you only have one!

Ok, thanks. I've heard that a lot of problems with people lifting is that they dont do anything for their lower back and pull muscles easy.

also don't forget back extentions. there's a contraption at the gym, if you go to one, where it locks either your feet or your legs in place, and bend over a pad, then just straighten up just a bit past neutrel.

Stiff-legged deadlifts work well too. But, be VERY careful, don't use heavy weight to begin with. Slowly increase your weight. They also help work your hamstrings.

Push ups work out your back section evenly.
