Good agility excercises
Anyone have any good agility excercises?
I occasional jump around a bit, sideways and try quickly changing direction and stuff, but i don't really know how good that works. Its all pretty amateur really ![]() Just that i play basketball and want to work on it a bit more. |

Running very fast in short bursts of speed.
IE sprinting sideways across a gym floor, then going back taking a very small rest, or no rest, and doing it again.. and then again and again and again etc they're common in tryouts for sports team to measure endurance, speed, etc.. they're also common in practices after a loss to punish the team ![]()

Ladder drills
Have you tried ladder drills. If you don't have a ladder, you can draw one with some chalk. Then you can do all kinds of drills, like one foot in at a time, hopping, hopscoth (hop with both feet in and then hop with feet split outside of the ladder and then hop with both feet in the next section, etc.) You can also do similar drills in a side to side manner over a single line. These are a blast and are very difficult.
