Which eye do you look yourself in the mirror?

Strange thinking disorder of mine how some girl of 2 years ago had asked me where the washroom was.. This was in night school. Her eyes were looking diagonally right upwards. I thought it was really strange and then what do you know .. my mind then came up with the question "Which eye do you look at?". That thought in my mind then screwed me up pretty badly and now I am completely mind screwed for 2 years. I have troubles now and then looking at people. My guess is, by focusing on one eye but it's hard. I think it's about time to get help from a psychiatrist ?

Are you talking about looking people in the ye when you talk to them? What's this mirror thing about?

I look in both eyes of whoever I'm talking to, moving my eyes back and forth between their eyes. Sometimes I look away for a second so I'm not staring and drilling a hole through their head.

I give a HARD stare at my professors which kinda unnerves them while they are lecturing. But I just do as pearl trade does with regular people. In the mirror, I look at both eyes, examining them ... can you tell I love myself?

The whole mirror situation is to see IF you can look at yourself without being emotionally impaired. I GET confused whenever i Look myself in the mirror because it's the same as looking other people in the eyes. I get frustrated and I wish there would be a one way treatment to this sick disorder shit fuck. =.='

If you stand a little further away, you can look into both eyes at the same time.

Pearl Trade 08-21-2010 10:03 AM

In that case, I lean up real close to the mirror and stare deep into my eye, usually my left eye for some reason. I do it to see the colors and lines and slight retina dilations. As genuinegirly said, if you stand back farther you can see both eyes, just look at the space between your eyes. I don't see how looking at yourself in the mirror is the same as looking at someone else. Doesn't make sense.

IF I can't look at myself in the mirror, then I can't look at other people. I seriously get confused whenever I get too close of a distance while talking to someone, I don't know..

Probably the eye that is not looking in an opposite direction or just kind of look around, talk, look at them for a second, look around again and then just kind of nod while looking down at the floor.

FML. My head been spinning around for 2 years and trapped. I can't really get to know people while having conversations, like I can't understand the flow of things how I was use to before.

I look right up the nostrils.

To the OP poster: It's not possible for our eyes to focus on two separate points.

Our two eyes are seeing the same image but from two different angles,
that's what allows our brains to map a third dimension.

Post number 17 in the other thread is my favorite. :D

There's no physical reason it can't happen, its just extremely difficult and disorienting since your brain tries to shove the two images together. I've done it before by a few various physical tricks and mostly you wind up with either a wierd composite image or shifting between one "real" image and one being flickery and insubstantial (like a hologram almost).

IS THERE A WAY TO STOP this thinking disorder ?

I'm usually more concerned with her breasts but hey, whatever floats your boat man, I guess fetishes come in all shapes and orifices.

When in a conversation with a person i tend to look at peoples mouth, because i read lips. How ever i don't need to i can here just fine. I don't know why i do it, but i do. Hmm now i wonder why i do it.

That's what Fugly really does too. It's unusual for him that he won't admit it.

Maybe he does have a nostril fetish after all.

Me? I stand far enough away to look in both eyes, unless I'm looking at something specific. Like my nostril. [stop fapping, Fugly]
