Sleep Apnea
I did a search to see if there was any posts regarding this, however I admit I might have not did the search right.
I have sleep apnea and wear the stupid (yes I hate the thing) cpap at level 5. And I have questions before I head off to the doctor on the matter. Who else has sleep apnea? Do you have more intense dreams that are strange? Do you have times where you only sleep 1 or 2 hours at a time? Sometimes, do you have trouble with the mask causing you to feel stuffed up with a cold and can't wear it that night? Have you found yourself taking the mask off in your sleep and not knowing til you woke the next morning?

Sometimes the dreams are more intense, not always. Yes, wake up off and on, but less so than without ( i think ) Stuffed up, and the congestion just rolls around with nowhere to go... I didn't wear it last night because of congestion. I fling it off at least once a week in the middle of the night, and I don't always realize I've done it till much later.

I wear the CPAP nose pillows. I was diagnosed in feb, and had a hard time at first. Now, can't sleep without it!
As for dreams, I can't remember them usually. My normal sleep pattern now is min. 8 hours. I wake up every morning, and the first thing I have to do is blow the nose, several times. At times, I have removed the pillows, but my wife wakes me up to put it back on. Hasn't happened in a while though. Also, She said that I seem to adjust it in my sleep too! |
