online brokers

I plan on spending about 100 or 200 on xm stock but not sure which is better. I plan on keeping it for awhile and not purchase anything else. So from your experiences what is the best online broker?? i have check several of them out but i wasnt able to find the fine print just their deal atm.

But the thing is, to get in and out of your xm position, you have to pay 14 dollars. And let's say that you invest the full $200. That would mean commission alone would cost 7% of your initial investment, so you would have to have at least a 7% return on your 200$ just to break even.

Just something you should consider before starting investing. It's not easy money, but best of luck.

I've used Scottrade for a few years and would recommend it. I agree with soma about the commission. You might want to wait until you can put in more for your intial investment.

thats the thing, I would be lucky to be able to put 200 into it. I only have some money that I can put into it cause of our tax return.

That is the information that i was looking for tho, thanks. anyone have info about any of the other online sites?
