Trivial Persuit lover?

Uh, i hadn't played it in the longest time, then just for Christmas we got the 20th Anniv. Addition- I've been missing so much! I need to go buy more versions!
I like playing, because I like to learn things- I'm not that smart- but I'm getting there! lol
Hey, what a great way to teach your kid!

Do they still make the young player's edition of trivial pursuit? I learned a ton from that when I was a kid.

It seems that the newer editions are harder to me, but maybe it's just because I'm getting old and know the older info better.

Get the PopCulture DVD version. A lot of fun. My wife and I just played again last nite.

There is another game called SceneIt that uses a DVD and Trivial Pursuit type questions but is strictly movie based. We got both for Christmas and love playing them.

I used to play that game all the time as a kid, I miss my childhood. :D

I did hear somebody talking about the game at dinner the other night though. Said they got the new version and that it was harder than previous versions. Maybe we're just getting dumber. ;)

I love Trivial Pursuit...unfortunately, my husband doesn't, so I don't get to play it very often :(

They have a trivial pursuit and scene it jr. edition. You can find them at the Game Keeper stores, perhaps also Kay Bee and Toys R Us?

My parents and my wife and I play every now and then - with the original version. Ouch.

One question - who leads the NHL in scoring?

Answer - Bobby Hull.

We play for money, everybody chips in $5 and we make each pie piece worth a certain amount depending on how many people are playing, it's more competitive that way.

i love triv persuit, i have several editions, im not to good, (im only 19 and dont have the advantage of age) but it is still fun to learn what i know and learn what i dont.

The pop culture DVD is great cause you know know quite a few of the quextions since they're more modern.
I've also played Lord of the Rings trivial persuit. Fun but questions are kinda dumb.

DrJekyll 02-01-2004 11:48 AM

Since I typically win, I can't ever get anyone to play Trivial Pursuit with me.

Batman976 02-01-2004 12:55 PM

I really want the pop culture edition. I reckon it would make for a fun drinking activity.

i relate to the 20th Anniv. edition, becuase that covers my generation.
