				How to clean leather
I've looked around the net, and apparently you need a special sort of cleaner to clean leather. Best deal I've found is $6 for a 12oz can of the stuff. Can anyone recommend anything for me? What I'm trying to clean is a leather jacket. Everyone says to use the cleaner, sure, great, but can I put the jacket in the washing machine? thanks

| Crazy Location: South East US | ha ha, dont advise the washing machine, will ruin it. Use Saddle Soap and a soft rag, then a leather conditioner. You can find saddle soap at grocery stores or shoe stores. Murphys oil will work too, but not sure if it will affect the finish.

| Insane Location: here but I wish I lived there | The stuff I used was a spray , pretty much all you do is hang the jacket on a hanger spray it down let it dry and it should protect it from rain and if you get anything on it you should beable to just spot wipe it with a damp cloth. If you are still unsure I would just take to the dry cleaners and ask them to clean it or call a leather shop and ask them what they would recommend.
