Unstick my car vents?

Ok I had a funky cat pee smell in my car Im guessing coming from under the hood, so being the genious that I am, sprayed some febreeze into my vents on the dash. Gee guess what, nexy day I can't move them. They are stiff as a rock. Any idea what I could do to umm, reverse the effect? :/ Go ahead and laugh. :(

Hot soapy water in a spray bottle? I don't think febreze has stuff in it that would attack the plastic, so they're probally just gummed up....... a old toothbrush to work the soap in would be good.

Next time you want to freshen your air ducts spray Lysol in the intake vents outside the car at the base of the windshield with the blower fan running......... that's were the cat sprayed and gave you the gift that keeps on giving.

Well all 5 of my vents are stuck up, and require quite a bit of force to move them. Each 1 day after I sprayed the stuff. I'll try hot soapy water spraying the same way. :/ Blah!

Hmmmmm, well maybe febreze does have stuff that attacks plastic..... I don't have any here to read the bottle, look at what the back of the bottle says.

Ooooooo, that would smell great! I love the smell of cat spray and WD40 first thing in the morning....... wakes me right up.

plus i don't think wd40 is made for plastic. i know prolonged exposure to car paint can bubble it up.

Munku...if you don't mind me asking, who's that in your avatar?

You can try Armourall....that normally makes plastic slippery (and shiny) and protects it from the harsh rays of the sun. Dunno whether it has any effect on the cat pee though....
