Conflict management
 

I enrolled onto a management course and one of the assignments is about conflict management. I have had to come up with a conflict in a work based situation, which is not a problem. The problem is I need a recognised model to show how the conflict was resolved and to gain extra credit to reference the original author. Can anyone recommend a conflict resolution style?

I have come across one known as the The "Interest-Based Relational Approach" or Ibr but can not find any reference to the original study or author. Again can any one assist as the ibr fits in with the work I have done so far.

I'll assume you're at a university. Don't you have on site (library) access to several digital research databases (such as EbscoHost, Proquest [US equiv])?

I googled it and came up with a bunch of hits. I'm not interested in doing your homework for you, but it seems like the info is readily available if look around.

We resolve conflict in the office with those giant foam cotton buds from the "Gladiators" TV show.

^^ Do you also take time to dress accordingly? This should be the best part of the procedure.
