This guy came in, and we started looking for bait. I sold him a few of our best lures, and then asked what type of tackle box he had. Having none, he allowed me to lead him to the tackle box isle. After a few minutes of this, we started talking about rods. Turns out, he didn't even have one of those! So, I sold him a graphite rod, able to hold up to 200 lbs. Then, we got him an expert reel, along with enough fishing line to reach the bottom of the lake out there. I started talking about how great it was to fish in the middle of the lake, on a boat with a cooler of beer. Guess what? No cooler, no beer, and most of all, no boat! Well, we took care of those right away. After purchasing the best fishing boat our store has to offer, I told him that I'd help him load it up onto his boat trailer. And wouldn't you imagine, no trailer. Once we selected the correct trailer for him, I asked him to pull his truck around back so we could attach it. Poor guy had driven a Yugo here. Well, after hooking him up with an excellent Ford F350, we were done for the day. But, clichic as it may sound, we did forget the one thing he had come in to buy. When he walked in the store this morning, he asked me, "Where can I find some tampons." to this, I replied - "Shit, sounds like your weekend is fucked, you may as well go fishing."
