Good for him, people tend to froget they are there to watch a show of a performer they respect or admire, pay him/her the courtesy of STFU and enjoying the show |
heh no shit good for him.
that is why I suggest a big sign that says "shut the fuck up and enjoy the show!!"
every time people talks, lights would go off and hightlight those words.. |
Heh still funny even when pisseed off. Way to go Chapelle.
way to go chappelle, sometimes people need a good wake-up call, especially with regards to performance etiquette
My level of respect for the guy went up a notch after I read the article. Good stuff.
"It's like The Silence of the Lambs, without the silence."
This guy rules. I confess, I haven't seen his show, but I'll be watching every chance I get from now on. |
Good for him. I'm glad he did it, now if the asshats will just STFU...

i can just imagine the crowd saying, "whaat? okaaay! whaaat? I'm Rick James, bitch!" LOL

A woman that I work with went to see Dave Chapelle perform in St. Louis. She's got a husband and two kids, and she gets pretty roudy sometimes. While she was at the show, she flashed Chapelle and he fell to the stage laughing, saying that she had giant niples. True story.
I have some respect for tackling the problem but I would have twice as much 'props' if he had played it out to them through jokes to shut the hell up and not just throwen a tamtrum and stormed off the stage in a huff.
Has anyone heard the show of Bill Hicks where he goes off on a few people in the crowd? A flatmate of mine gave me a cd with the show on it but I've never really seen it anywhere. Bascially he totally loses it at a few points and screams at a few of the people. I've never seen it live but I've heard he even got off the stage and was right in their faces.
Good for him. People need to stfu as to not ruin it for others.
