Wishing for the sequel
 

What game do you love, but has yet to have a sequel made for it?

For me its Alpha Centauri. I love AC and would love to see what would be improved for an AC2. I mean compair Civ1 to Civ3...

Starcraft 2 maybe, but they would probably make it suck so I'm satisfied with plain old Starcraft: BW

Another sequel I would like to see is Fallout 3. The first two were best RPG's ever IMO.

I was waiting for the sequel to Medieval Total War with bated breath. Unfortunately Rome Total War was a (cartoonish) disappointment. Hopefully the next one in the series will be back on form.

Fallout 3 would be nice, but doesn't qualify. Fallout Tactics 2? Not the same, I know, but I'm ready for anything more Fallout related.

I REALLY want a sequel to Shadowrun (the one for Genesis, not the SNES version). It'd be cool if it was done in the style of KotOR, too.

The game I always wanted to have remade was Pirates! Gold from NES and/or Genesis which obviously now has been done. I can't think of much else that I really want remade that hasn't been done already. Maybe Golgo 13 Top Secret Episode? But I can probably live without it pretty easily.

Rainbox Six, Civ and Everquest took most of my time as a gamer. RS because it was the first game I really played online so I spent way too many nights playing it, Civ and Everquest for obvious reasons, they are way too addictive. And all of them have already been redone. Besides Rogue Spear, i didn't even buy any of the other RS sequels or add ons, EQ2 I didn't buy because I value my wife and job. I will buy Civ4 day of release though.

Shadowrun would rock.
A modern remake of Syndicate (not Syndicate Wars) would be cool.

Another Monkey Island. Yes, there's been 4 of them so far, but with the current trend of adventure games going the way of the dodo, I'd want to see at least one more.

Eternal Darkness 2 would be cool.

Morrowind......screenshots and info on the sequel have me salivating. Can't wait to spend another three months exploring.

I forgot to mention Command and Conquer: Generals 2. We had many a great LAN session with the first one. A great RTS. I hope there is a sequel.

Are they really making a NeverWinter Nights 2? I thought BioWare was making their own non-D&D game so they wouldn't have to pay WOC any royalties.

A new Space Quest or Quest for Glory would be great. Or any new advanture game for that matter. I'm still pissed they canned the sequel to Sam & Max

I'm sure that there are games other then what has already been mentioned that I'd like a sequel for, but nothing I can remember at the moment.

I would kill for a sequal to Shadowrun. Fallout 3 could never be so far away..I've wanted that game for years. Also Alpha Centuari 2?! You people are just teasing me!

Hmm, I took this thread to mean games that are by themselves, no sequels at all. Otherwise, every game in existence would apply to this criteria:So I stick with the following:

If I remember correctly, most of the people who worked on the Diablo games have left Blizzard.

I'd love to see Starcraft 2 personally, more than anything else.

westwood made 2 great rts games command and conquer and red alert....
then taken up by EA things went downhill...slightly uphill (RA:2 was ok) and back downhill (generals)
generals may have been an ok rts...but it just doesn't deserve the command and Conquer label.

I want westwood back :'-(

I only played RA 2 a little bit, and played none of the others. Now that you mention it, Generals does seem to be adopted into the C&C family.

Dungeon Keeper was cool, but their multiplayer was lacking. I wanted to see someone take the role of a hero and try to fight their way in. Having two dungeon keepers wasn't very exciting.
