spinning off the thread about the first cheat code that you can remember....
what is the earliest/favorite move that u normally do?

Since I can remember whenever I play a fighting game the first move i try is to do Ryu's haduken (semi-circle + punch)...often times it actually is a character's special move.

Same.
Fireball : F-D-DF-F.P btw, it's not a semi circle. That's just a waste of motion. More like a quarter circle or less.

Flash kick : D-U.K

Sonic Boom: Left-Right-Punch

Notice how most of these are Street Fighter moves?

The semi circle punch is the one I remembered. Also, Back, Back, Forward Punch for scorpions stinger pulley thing.

rotate foward punch- Subzero freeze
rotate back free ground infront of oppontent and he slips into you

raden's superman move : back back forward
his teleport: down down up

Lock onto target and press B along with left or right; Metroid Prime's lock-on dash.

Sub Zero's Freeze was the first one that came to me, it's been the same in every single MK game, so it's no real surprise =)

Definitely Ryu's Fireball. I remember playing the original Street Fighter, wondering how my older brother was hitting me with a fireball when all I could do is jump and try to dodge 'em. I looked at how he motioned the joystick, tried the same thing, and sure enough I had Ken "hadouken"ing Ryu in no time. When Street Fighter 2 came out years later, the first person I picked was Guile, and I was soooo pissed when I couldn't do his sonic boom the same way Ryu and Ken threw fireballs.

haha... i was thinking about the sfII fireball before i even opened the thread. of course, if the irateplatypus is throwing a hadoken... it'll come from ken. :)
