So it seems that as part of Acclaim going bang, the rights to their games are going for a song. Fancy picking up the rights to all the 90s Simpsons games for $7,500?

Surprisingly cheap.

I did a research report on Acclaim my junior year. That company deserved to go out of business.

It's not surprising that they're selling their rights...I imagine they still have a lot of debt to pay off.

Interesting, how come they deserved it?

Edit: I see they put out at least SEVEN Mary Kate and Ashley games in just over two years. Yes, they did deserve to go out of business.

They hid facts from their employees. Their employees would go without pay for 2 months without an explanation. If they quit, they NEVER got paid. Upper management attempted to have a pressurized aura around them so people were afraid to stand up for an idea they had. It goes on and on.
