Just looking to see what other ppl are playing.

My brother and me started our account again. We bought it when it first came out and than quit after the first month.

Decided to come back because of the recent additions of player cities, vehicles, etc.

I play on Eclipse.

Yep, just reactivated my account yesterday to see what changes they had made to the Jedi system. I had a Jedi when I quit, but it was absolutely terribly implemented, so I'm gonna go back and see if it got any better.... Hopefully SoE did something decent with it, it was so nearly a great game...

My charactors are on Starsider, my primary is NoSoup, my Jedi is NoSoupII :D

How is the jedi system NoSoup?

Used to play it in beta, and for about 4 months after launch. Haven't touched it since. I was Jadedfoxx on Starsider.

Very very different. First off, they couldn't have possibly made the original Jedi system worse. I kid you not... it was bad.

So, not surprisingly, the new system is an improvement. Basically, I like several things that they have done with it. They gave us the ability to select "non-jedi" powers, such as Crafting Mastery, so you can use "The Force" to help you craft better products. There are a variety of other skills, some that I'll throw out there are "luck", vehicle control, ranged/melee accuracy, ranged/melee defences, ect. In addition, we have quite a few more Jedi like skill trees, including Force Defender (defenses) Force Enhancer (heightened reflexes) Lightsaber (wielding a saber) ... and some more that I can't think of.

My personal opinion? It is pretty decent now, with a large variety of options to choose from. The only downfall, IMHO, is that once you become a Jedi Knight you only gain XP from PvP, and you are always able to be attacked.

I played it when it first went live. Hit master creature handler in a few weeks then all the creature nerfs started hitting and cancelled. Now i hear they gave alot of the creatures there armor back and crap. Might have to try it again.
