I own it. The game is bad ass except you really need a place to put the controller and the foot pedals.
It plays a lot like the mech warrior games imo. There are a few things that are kinda stupid in the game (such as starting up the mech) but overall it is fun. Just don't die, because when you die, you lose everything and have to start over. |

I too own the game. Best fucking mech game ever. It trumps everything in overall realism (as realistic a mech game could be) It really captures teh feel of mech games. Sure something get a little annoying but the first time you fire that thing up you're awestruck. Good luck finding it for 200$ anymore. Its one of the damn reason I bought an x-box. I'm such a mechhead

I will certainly get Steel Battalion: Line of Contact, which is a totally new game WITH Xbox Live support, and it features the first game as well.
