Castlevania...
anyone here addicted to the Castlevania series like I am? I was trapped in a rehab/private school since April with nothing to entertain myself with aside from a game boy. I completely destroyed Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow. Unfortunately I haven't been able to pick up Lament of Innocence, which I'm gonna wait to do until I go back and finish Symphony. Oh, how I wish I was a belmont right now...I love this shit!

Well, my girlfriend has Aria of Sorrow and likes it a lot. Electronic Gaming Monthly gave all three of the GBA games great reviews (I think they all got a gold medal). Symphony of the Night is considered the best PS1 game ever by many people (and publications!). I tried SotN, but I got my ass kicked (I didn't put any time into it). What a great series! I hear Lament of Innocence is good, but disappointing when compared to the other games in the series. What a shame!

I LOVE Castlevania. Last one I played was the SNES version so I'm a bit behind, but I also just got my first new console (PS2) since the NES

Castlevania has always been one of my favorites series of games. Though the Nintendo 64 ones sucked rocks, the rest of them are awesome, even the GBA ones.

The new Castlevania for the PS2 is fucking terrible, it is in 3D. The graphics are muddy (hard to see things), and you can't control the camera! I hate fucking games were I can't control the camera (Resident Evil, Onimusha). It was really short too, I haven't been a big fan of the Castlevania games, a lot of them feel too recycled. They really need to reinvent themselves to appeal to me.

The camera system in the game is a damn mess, but it's far better than the 64 version in terms of playability.
Still, it isn't my favorite...
