PS2 Problems
sometimes when I play a DVD on my PS2 the lighting gets all fucked up....example:
the movie will start playing and then all the sudden the screen will get really dark....then about a minute or two later it'll go back to being bright...it does this off and on on some if not all my DVDs...whats the problem? |
Macrovision it sounds like. Are you runing your video signal through a VCR or something on the way to the TV?

yes it is connected through the VCR on its way to the TV. The reason i do that is because my TV doesnt have any outputs.....so i guess im SOL

I was just playing Enter The Matrix and just noticed how much darker it was than playing it at my gf's house. Here I have to hook it through a VCR...hmmmm

Whenever i watch a dvd on my ps2, and there is text on screen, like subtitles, the credits or on menu pages, there is a loud crackling, static type sound.
does anyone know why this is? |
