Anyone else a PS2 gamer and what games do you play, also on a side note I just got accepted to Beta test the new Final Fantasy and i get a free HDD with the beta pkg

havent really tried Socom online yet

Xbox=only way to go online, imo.

Playing halo on a good server on xboxconnect is better than socom any day. Just my .o2

Never played console games online, don't intend to either, much cheaper and more fun on the PC, but that's just me.

well the thing is this, the beta has been going on for around a month id say, and im a member of the Gamer Advisory Panel it was a bunch of peeps selected by sony to be in this panel, they just took people from the GAP to be in the beta so we are actually getting in late.

also if i remember correctly i have to return the hdd at the end of the beta, they say the hdd is beta itself so who knows.

Nice job on the free HD. I was talking to some Sony people at a demo yesterday and asked what they expected the price point on that to be. They said they were expecting something in the $200 range (bundled with the game). Yipes!

I'm a UK beta tester, so i get loads of free games to test, i had to pay for the network adaptor at the start though.

someone quoted above at around $200 with a game, but honestly no one really knows, there is tons of rumors floating around and this thing has been on all the radar screens for over a year, Sony pretty much knows whats going on and I don't see them putting out something they will lose with. I mean the Xbox comes with a HDD and sony knows they need this to complete, and you really can't knock them I mean the PS2 was out over a year before the Xbox so I hope they get a good price on this.

'nother side note, I was reading some totally off the wall and purely unreliable forums last night and seen someone saying that you will get a new HDD free once you sent the Beta one back in(I DOUBT IT)but you know how rumors fly.
