I am sure it has probably been talked about, but I am interested in buying some video games (Galaga / Ms. Pacman Combo and a pinball machine). Can any joe-blow buy them or do you have to get them used or second hand? Anyone know or have experience?

Look up your local amusement operator and ask them.

Also try usenet groups as good deals can be had

There are sites out there that have blue prints on making your own cabnet. You then just basically need a shitty comp and a ROM.

I'm not that handy. I have the money and I don't have the skills to make something like that. I will continue looking for an actual game. Plus, I am wanting a pinball game too. Can't do that with ROM's

I believe someone here used a computer with an emu on it and built it into an arcade machine he made by hand. Try digging up the thread, there's lots of cool pictures and stuff.
