Who here is a hard core SC2 nut? i loved this game back in the day and they are remaking it for free for the newer Os's like windows xp and whatnot. so far its comming along good. this website is an excellent resource.

no more doss and you can get sound in winxp instead of running it in doss mode and not hearing jack.

They have a fully networkable Star Control Melee game that you can play with up to 8 (!) people at once! They have a crapload of fan made ships, too.

I loved it for the 3DO!!! I thought me and my brother were the only people playing this addictive game.
I loved sending out the little ships and sticking them to my bro's ship......he's still mad at me

anyone who loved star control 2 should love StarFlight 1 and 2, which is where star control 2 got most of it's ideas (although they tackled it in a unique way, im not taking anything away from star control 2's greatness) Just suggesting you check out the PC versions of starflight 1 and 2. There was a genesis version of starflight, and it was ok.

the long time fans of starflight are also making starflight 3. on their site you can download starflight 1 and 2 for free, or at least find a link to a free copy of it. its not pirated, its given freely.
