Lionheart

Hey,

Does Anyone know when the new Lionheart Game comes out? Its made by Black Isle, and its suppose to be kinda like Fallout except in the Middle ages.

I know it was suppose to come out in the first quarter, but like many games, it's production date has been pushed back.

any info would be helpful,

thanks.

Looks neat by the way having just read a few previews. Good concept, I enjoy when writers do a fantasy twist on reality/history. Just needs some of the awesome gameplay I've been seeing people produce recently and I'll have my ideal game.

Black Isle is perhaps the last bastion of light in American RPGs. May they feed from the soft belly tissue of those who would undo them.

long live black isle

die Squar RPGs and their rip offs

What? I don't want to reaffirm how much of a nerd I am but isn't Square years older then Black Isle? And doesn't Black Isle's games by and large rip off dungeons and dragons? I like both companies, but Square has final fantasy, and now they're teamed up with the gods among men who made DRAGON QUEST! You don't mess with that shit, HARM MORE!

Er... Black Isle's most famous games are the Baldur's Gate duet, but really thier 'best' are Planescape: Torment and the Fallouts. While Torment was based off of a (now defunct) AD&D campiegn setting, it was a VERY unusual game. Fallout was game of the year for a few game mags in 1996, and had a bizarre atmosphere(a post-nuclear roleplaying game as designed by the authors of 'Weird Tales', maybe)

Also, since Torment and BGs 1 & 2 were official AD&D sanctioned games, they were not rip offs.

Personally, I like the FFs (except 10). But Black Isle I love.

Mid-Late August I think, depending on where you live. It looks pretty good - Black Isle certainly know their RPGs.

Ayup, I'm looking forward to it quite a bit. Looks very neat.

i've been drooling over Lionheart since mid-last year. I am a huge fan of the Infinity Engine and wish it were not dying.

The game looks great!

ps: consoles games (square, even though they did release two games for the pc) versus pc games is an apples and orange issue. there is very little to compare.
