Blast Corps on N64 - I was really far and the game never ended.
FFIII (VI) - I need to find it. FFX - I'm playing it right now, right before Sin. Xenogears - damn memory card got erased. Gran Turismo 3 - Memory Card erased (again) Metroid Prime - my roommate moved his cube to his GF room.

One day I will finish final fantasy tactics!!
That game is so incredibly hard to beat without cheating. I think I might hook up my playstation and give it another round. Zorgan: I am the exact same way with games. I've played games right up to the end and just simply got bored of it.

Chrono Cross- I just didn't like the magic system in this game, and I quit on the second disc about a year and a half ago. Mark of Kri- Lots of fun, but the stealth aspect of the game gets traded off for a nonstop killfest in the last level, and I gave up. Chances are I was only two or three rooms from the end. Super Mario Bros.- I never finished this one either, and it still bugs me a little. More than starting games and not finishing them, I'm bad about buying too many games and never getting around to playing them. I go to a lot of pawnshops and when I see a game there I've heard good things about for $10 or so, I have to pick it up. A few that have never even so much as made it to the the console are: Resident Evil Zero Skies of Arcadia Legends Legend of Dragoon FF IX Fear Effect Dragon Warrior 7 Vagrant Story I know, I admit I have a problem. It's the first step on the road to healing.

Homeworld. It's an amazing, intricate and very hard game, but it takes too long to recover if you screw up. I'd love to finish it, but I just don't have time to do it.

morrowind: walking around was pretty but boring = pretty boring
parasite eve: saved at a point where my health was too low and I was fighting parasite eve immediately. no other save points for backup. ff7: whatever her name took my stuff and I was too pissed off trying to get it back. shenmue: same as morrowind.

Half-Life: Became rather disinterested in the alien world. I got stuck at a seemingly easy part so I just gave up. Would like to finish some day though, just for the sense of completeness.
Age of Empires: Have been working on this one off and on for over a year. Just haven't been able to put the time into it lately. I am rather proud to say that last year I got my NES out of the closet and finished both the original Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Brothers. Hooray for me!!! |

I would have to say Shinobi for the PS2 and Vagrant Story for the PS. I like both of them but both are really hard. Too bad I don't own Vagrant Story anymore. I really want to re-purchase it and beat it.

Also: Freedom Force - stuck on level with the dinosaurs Im usually pretty good about finishing a game once ive started it and i like it. Soooo many games though I get halfway through, hit a wall, and go "this game SUCKS!" and uninstall it in a fit of rage and never think about it again. (Hegemonia is a good example of that.) Some games I just get extremely bored of (Tropico 2, Black Hawk Down, Maden 2003) and they just sit on my hard drive for like 3 years until I need space fo rosmeting else and uninstall them. Tonight I just finished Viet Cong. That was a fun game! |

Got pretty close to the end of FF6, but I got too bored trying to level up enough to beat the final boss...
I got stuck at one place in FF Tactics and have never bothered to try to finish it. Almost happened to me with Castlevania SOTN, but I borrowed the game from a friend about a year later and finally did finish it I got bored with Half-life pretty quickly. There just didn't seem to be much of a plot and I was wandering around endlessly trying to figure out where to go next. Same thing happened with Unreal (though Epic sent me that one for free so I can't really complain). |

Faxanadu (Im not joking). It was a hard game, if only because you had to remember the worst save codes. That game was the best reason to get memory on game cartridges.

Me, I couldn't seem to finish the first Tales of Destiny, got stuck in a dungeon and couldn't find my way out before running out of items.. just gave up.. trying to find it again though...... didn't finish Lunar 2 or Legend of Dragoon either, some other game came out that just drained my interest. And who could forget Morrowind, the biggest god damn waste of an engine that should have had multiplayer capabilities. That game would be great if I could talk to someone other than myself... |

Max Payne(PS2) - Got stuck on some point and lost interest. Gonna play it through someday though.
Metal Gear Solid 2: The sons of liberty(PS2)- The ending with the zillion gazillion metal gears is just too much for me... maybe someday I'll try again.
The return to castle Wolfenstein(PC) - Actually no reason why I didn't finish this one, probably because I spent some 3 days inside playing it constantly... some kind of overflow still going to finish it someday.

System Shock 2. Great game, eerie as hell but it lost me in the end alien ship levels, much like Half life did in the alien dimension.
Legend of Zelda: Link Awakening for the original Gameboy. Couldn't get past the end bosses.

Black N' White: got to boring to get to the ending. Not that there really was one I think.
Alice: I just needed more time. HL: Zen levels really bored me, otherwise great game. Max Payne: still playing, sorta. Problem I have is that my kids play the games while im at work and I get to see the ending ruining it for me

There is no end to the list i've games I just haven't finished, so I will post the more recent ones:
Morrowind(PC)-having too much fun doing the other quests and trying to enchant my way to being god! Golden Sun(GBA)-Got to the desert and realized I hadn't leveled up enough and that it takes too long to do. Splinter Cell(XBox)-Will finish it someday, just some parts can be very difficult. dont like repeating one mission over and over Halo(XBox)-kept falling asleep from the repetition. Dark Cloud(PS2)-Don't want to beat it without having the strongest weapons on all the characters FFX(PS2)-Didn't level up enough throughout game and couldnt beat a boss, plus leveling up in the area around him was difficult so i said fuck it. Thats all I can think of right now, but Ill probably put more on soon, unless i just dont feel like finishing this post

The game that most saddens me about not finishing is Savage Empire, an obscure Worlds of Ultima RPG made in 1990. You are the Avatar, in the service of Lord British, when you and Dr. Rafkin's laboratory are sent back in time to the time of dinosaurs in the land of Eodon, you have to find your friends and your girlfriend, unite the tribes, destroy the Myrmidex scourge, and get home. But the game doesn't work too well, or at least not with sound (and that's pointless) on the higher end Windows 95 and up systems, so once I installed Win95 in tenth grade -- 1997 -- I haven't been able to play so many great old games, at least not well. I think my copy is buggy, too.
As for current games I haven't finished, I got to one of the last parts of Xen in Half-Life and just stopped, it gets dumb; I might finish it someday, but I doubt it. I never finished any of the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games, but I want to now that I got the versions that support OpenGL graphics. I never beat Jedi Outcast, but I saw how it ends, so that's good enough for now. On the consoles, I got to Bowser's lair in Mario 3, died, and just turned it off, so I never beat that, and I did pretty much the same thing with Scar in the Genesis version of The Lion King; got to the end, died, and realized what a waste of time it'd be to win the game.
