Best NPC
I noticed a some people seem to play good old pen and paper RPGs. I'm looking for a great memorable antagonist NPC idea for my campaign. Anyone has anything to suggest?
Or perhaps simply post your best PC/NPC PS... hum, I'm talking D&D here. |
Eh since D n D is a campaign of the mind you can use all your creativity and anything. Just get creative. Or even use stuff from another game. But if you get a really good idea you may profit, example The Elder Dragons from Magic : The Gathering , were originally in one of the Wizards of the Coast' DND campaigns.

I remember in one DnD segment, we had the Queen of the Cobalts on our case the entire time because we had liberated some of her Goblin prisinors. She hired 3 Rangers that would lead an army of Cobalts around, so we had to fight about 10 Cobalts in every other room we would go in. What made her Memoriable is for some reason, Our DM made her sound like a Female Jerry Lewis. "Myhey! You will not escape, with the running, and the fleeing and they HEY disarming traps with the shiney thingies."

Branwen from Baldurs Gate. Female Viking Clerics that love to smash things, delicious

Viconia from BG II,she always flirted with my character. ( Male Half-Orc Fighter )
She said some dirrrrty stuff. |
here is one i love to use in my d n d games
if you have a wizard in the party this works best but if not well it can still work. Have a evil wizard that spends the game working againist the party. any time the party thinks they have the wizard have him just teleport away. i works great cause the bad guy keeps coming back to cause trouble. |
The character my friends adopted, was my idea for monk:
A rather young Monk, bound by a vow of celibacy, that's a hopeless womaniser, and was forced to enter an order at the age of 16 after making two girls pregnant the same summer. Parents forced him to join to avoid having to settle with the two ladies' parents. He should be torn between his love for women, and the vow of celibacy. Whenever dirty thoughts have controlled his mind, he punishes "evildoers" horribly to make up for it. The evildoers may not be that evil, either... |
