pool balls
My wife got us a pool table. (Yes, she rocks, why do you ask?)
I know jack shit about pool and we are both learning to play. I'd like to give her a nice set of balls as a gift. (Nope. I couldn't type that with a straight face). Can you recommend a good set of balls? I'm more concerned with how they play than how they look, but if there are good quality, cool-looking balls out there, I'd look at them. I need to stop typing now and giggle childishly.

Pool. I did some on line research and bought what I hope will be good ones. I was hoping for some input from any pool players here. There's no way I'm good enough to play snooker. Talk to me after a couple years of practice.
