Voice Chat Program?
I'm looking for a good voice chat program that will run well with other applications going. I just started playing CS, and I want to use a seperate program to speak with the people with which I play instead of the game's built-in chat. Anyone have any favorites?

vent... but don't use it to say long monologues becasue it queues up and you'll get lag. but for quick "Go to the left. Turn and fire, toss grenade, run and gun, then hide in the basement." works great.
but those long Patton speeches are out unless you push to talk every so often. the sound quality is much better than TeamSpeak. |
We use Vent for World of Warcraft. I like it.

I've used both Vent and TeamSpeak. They're pretty much the same in terms of capabilities, but their interface is dramatically different. I'd DL them both (the clients are free) and see which one you like working with then go with that one.

Thank you folks for the input. I'll try them out.

Ventrilo is definitely the best. TeamSpeak works but the quality is crap compared to Vent, despite what many people say.
