I think this is actually a video editing trick, rather than a live 'performance', but it is still pretty freaking impressive.

As I said, I think this is a stop motion video edited to music rather than a live run lighting sequence. The channel control, circuiting, dimming and cabling needed to do this would be as sophisticated as anything you see in Vegas.

I don't think this is edited video. You could do this with a pretty basic timing board and a signal set up, just like they do for lighting at rock concerts. The hardware might run $100 and the program will run on a P1 133.

Yeah, this doesnt necessarily have to be edited up. X10 controllers and a bit of Perl hackery could do this. Just a computer geek with too much time on his hands, I suspect
