Hookah bars + Calgary
 

hello, don't post here much and discovered a long in an old email so i've be browseing again here.

Just came to Calgary, going to be here for the next 5 or so years, and was wondering, are there any hookah bars here? I have heard of Cafe Mediterranean, but do not know what its like. Has anyone been there, and are able to describe pricing and what it is like there? Anywhere else?

i just went there recently.

its excellent. they have a nice variety of tobacco, and the food is surprisingly good too!

myself and a friend tried the pink lemonade tobacco. twas quite good!


and i think the hookahs are $12 to startm and $10 for a refill.

ive never been to one, but there is a new one on 12th ave sw.
if you head down it all the way to the beginning of the warehouse district, it is on the right corner. dont know what it is called

It's called Ice Classics, and I haven't been, but I've heard good things. They seem to be doing good business too because they're taking over the place next door that used to be a security place and expanding.

yeah sure, I go to UofC, so a bunch of us from our floor will be heading down to one of the places.

I also found another one, Cedars Deli will have one in their new location in Kennsington when that opens up.
