a thought
I was just watching the news, and they showed a clip from a terrorist training camp, and they showed the masked terrorists on monkey bars. It all makes sense now, to become a terrorist, one must be sufficient at the monkey bars, but here's the question: what about the slide? the rope? the see-saw? these terrorists need to re-think their strategy if they are going to neglect such key elements in their training campaign

I believe the training video you're referring to is the Al Queda one. And their training is obviously sufficient as they managed to pull of one of the greatest attacks in American history. But either way, I don't think they even need much physical training as it seems most of their activities don't require much physical strain. I know your post is a joke...but ah well.

Come on how much more training does it take to blow yourself up than the MONKEY bars???
|
I'm sure that whatever you saw on the news completely encompassed the 'terrorist' lifestyle... not so much. Joke or not, I rarely pay much attention to television newscastings when it comes to 'terrorist activity'. The slant bothers me.

Bunch of friends and I cracked up when , while watching that clip at the start of the afghan invasion, one of my friends just blurted out, at the monkey bars portion, "well, here we see americas nemisis at play" nothing funny about it, but it was just one of those moments....

I've wondered about this video. Sure, they are kinda goofy on monkey bars, but there is something sinister about it... "sinister" as in the networks who have been playing this one clip repeatedly for quite a while... Although it looks silly to me, I think others see it as stealthy fighters trained to kill with no remorse. And, although that is probably not an inaccurate depiction, I think that the constant playing of this clip is doing nothing to help lessen the blind fear people fear in this country. Ohh, ever see it in slow motion? Scary. :|

The see-saw is employed in a hidden part of the camp, they can't give out all thier secrets.

the tire swing is where it's at. when you can master the pushing techniques to maximize the entertainment of the tire-swinger then you can conquer the world.

I had to do the monkey bars in basic training, it was part of an endurance obsticle course. I don't see why that's so funny, it helps build upper body strength and it's probably only a small part of the physical training. Kind of makes me wonder if they use a similar training program the US military uses....
