I don't agree with the racist statements posted on that board, but I, myself am completely against any sort of animal cruelty. I am a carnivore, yet I believe in the proper usage of our sources. Animals feel pain, and there is no reason to process live animals other than to increase the speed of production, which I have never felt is a valid reason to do so. It is just so fucked up. I hate PETA, but I hate these fuckers, too.

Take note that I didn't watch the video myself; all information I have from it is from the forum below the actual link to the video. Call me a pussy for not watching it, or call me ignorant for condemning something I refuse to even witness, but I stand with my opinion that anyone who would skin an animal, or a person for that matter, alive for any other reason than a life or death emergency, that person should also be skinned alive.

What is your take on this alleged atrocity? (Again I say "alleged" because I refused to actually watch the video).

Fuck man, that was absolutely heart wrenching. Despite your numerous warnings, me and my pathetic curiosity viewed the video and I now regret it. The thing that completely baffles me is the fact that they blatantly let the animals suffer miserably before they finally die on their own. Is there a fucking specific reason to beat the shit out of them and skin them alive? Can they not atleast give them a quick painless death first? After they were skinned with only flesh and bone remaining, the camera zoomed in on their skinless bloody faces, and you could see that they were in excruciating pain as they blinked their watery eyes while trying to survive the last moments of their agonizing life. It's just so sad, yet I am a complete hypocrite considering I eat meat. I keep telling myself to become a vegetarian after viewing numerous videos like this, yet I don't seem to be able to do it. I must reach that goal eventually, as no animal deserves to die like this for my stomach.

I take it they're processing the animals for food? Is this some generic slaughterhouse? or is there a company that can actually be taken to task for this? From the sounds of it, this has to be completely illegal.

No, they were doing it in the middle of a dirt road somewhere in Asia dumping them into the bed of a truck. And to top it off, they were skinning them for fur...so spoiled fuckers could feel important wearing expensive coats. My description wasn't half as bad as actually viewing the awful vid, were talking limbs getting chopped off and all that sadistic mess these fucks are capable of. The torture animals go through for food is just as sick though, and I still stand a hypocrite.

I don't understand this cruelty. I don't understand why they skinned them not only alive, but conscious as well. I don't understand why after they did this act they let the animals suffer even more on the back of the truck. Totally senseless and shameful. I've never seen such remorseless cruelty, ever.

I can at least say all the canadian farm operations i've seen kill their animals as humanely as possible.

This is why you should never buy animal furs. They were skined like that because any wounds that would mess up its skin would lower the furs value.

no, they were skinned like that for no good reason at all. There are many humane ways to kill an animal without damaging it's fur. These bastards just didn't care.

...but the pelts need not be "messed up". animals could be injected with a fatal overdose, just as in an ordinary veterinarian's office, where our pets are humanely & painlessly out of misery.

that said, <u>faux fur</u> is the <i>only</i> fur for me!!!
