As someone who has bought and sold on eBay for many years, crackprogram is right, THAT GUY/GAL IS A DICK!!!!! He should be banned from ebay. You can't use the "shoulda read" defense. That is just plain deceptive and in any other forum would be illegal.

That is why I read auction descriptions thoroughly.....

Can't blame the guy TOO much for trying to make a buck.

A year or so ago, there was a big brou ha ha about a person who was selling a Playstation 2 or whatever the hot video game of choice was at the time. If anyone read the ad, it was pretty clear that he was selling the box only, not the game. and he bidding got to a few hundred dollars.

Some idiot won, got the box shipped to him. and then realized he just got the box. Buyer wasn't pleased and seller didn't back down. I don't know if Ebay stepped in at all.

The guy is clearly stating in the ad what he's selling - it's not really fraud.
