The Panel
Just saw an ad for The Panel, due to start again soon. Loved the way they parodied the Medicare ads - made me laugh out loud.
In fact, I've loved most things the Working Dog team have done, and of course the D-Gen before that. Any fans here aside from me?

I love 'em. Unfortunately, I came over here after the Late Show was on.. so I've missed most of their stuff. I've watched the best of the Late Show, and have been in tears cause it's so funny. I love the Panel.
I saw their "Medicare" Panel ad the other day.. very funny, very typical of them. Can't wait for the Panel to come back on... |

Panel's a classic. Was Working Dog responsible for The Big Gig?
Anyone know when CNNNN will be back on? That shit is right up there.

And CNNNN is a classic! Love those little news thingies that run down the bottom....I'm torn between looking at those and watching the show. My fave Working Dog production was Frontline. That show was pure gold.

they've done some good stuff.
though i'd feel more comfortable with them if i hadn't witnessed Rob Sitch giving Peter Costello an enima. i know it was a complete wank, but i quite enjoyed Sitch/Gleisner's work on their fly-fishing series... great stuff. i enjoy the format of the Panel; simple, interesting and usually funny (even if that woman with the dutch name that i never remember does get seriously annoying after a while)... but no matter how hard it tries, it'll never, ever be as funny as The Glass House.

On JJJ Chris and Craig (Afternoon presenters, responsible for CNNNN's creation) they said CNNNN wouldn't be airing for a while due to their commitments to JJJ. Also, Im speculating C&C will be moving to mornings after Adam and Wil leave at the end of this year.

Nope, can't say I have. Actually, I really like the chemistry between Rob, Santo and Tom.
Truth be told, I tend to look at Kate's cleavage more often that, so I may have missed it.

Kate Langbroek is the one person I want to punch in the world. I hope she gets ebola, then has children and they get the ebola, and she has to watch them die, then she dies.

If I ever caught myself perving at 'her' I would poke mudcrabs into my eyesockets with a burning stick.

haha
You're not the first one to show such a strong hate for her.. I've heard others say it too.. she defintely has a hate club going for her hehe. I don't care all that much.. she's sorta annoying.. but whatever.. there are worse people out there. On the subject of the Panel.. did anyone catch it a couple weeks ago when some supermodel was on? Fuck she was dumb.. they had to speak slower and dumb down their jokes so she could handle it, I swear. Miss Universe was actualy fairly smart and quick, which surprised me. |

She's certainly a smart, genuine girl. Great in a G-string too :chauvanistpig:

Nah, that's the reason I hate Derryn Hinch. I hate KL for reasons of penis envy.
