Only Men who are fans of "Cherry 2000" can vote in this poll (Don't look here Ladies)

Cherry 2000 successfully predicts the future of dating... All dating
in the future will be controlled by a contract between the two dating
parties.
Lawrence Fishburn will establish the contracts.

But that's not what the poll is about. Cherry 2000 is a model of the ultimate robot wife. She does it all... She puts
out and loves you and probably doesn't cheat... often.

http://www.fansofgreenwood.com/Cherr...0/cherry04.jpg

Here she is in the arms of another guy.
the so-called hero of Cherry 2000. Aint she pretty?

Here is another picture of the Cherry 2000 model.
This model has been aged somewhat so that older
gentlemen can pretend that they are
Crime Scene Investigators.
This picture gives you an idea of the proportions none-the-less.

So in the movie this idiotic guy chooses
A real life woman over the heaven that
is the Cherry 2000. Here is her picture.

So if you had to choose between a life of robot heaven or some random crazy chick... who would you choose?

World's King 02-19-2004 04:50 PM

*burp*

Astrocloud 02-19-2004 08:08 PM

Okay who's the one who voted for that other one.

Fremen 02-19-2004 08:41 PM

I voted for the robot.
She can hold me up with her strength and twirl me in her like a top. :p

bundy 02-20-2004 05:14 PM

YAY!!!

bernadette 02-20-2004 05:27 PM

this thread smells like cigars, beer farts & cold pizza burps.

Astrocloud 02-20-2004 05:29 PM

Still no-one willing to confess that they voted for the other one. Someone own up.

bernadette 02-20-2004 05:30 PM

looks like you need FIVE people to own up now.

what's it matter?

Astrocloud 02-20-2004 05:42 PM

It just doesn't make any sense. I posted the absolute worst picture I could find. Yet they voted against the robot goddess. She's on CSI now and that other one doesn't even have a career beyond marrying Don Johnson.

If you're thinking about CSI: Miami, you got the wrong girl, Astro.
http://us.imdb.com/gallery/ss/031304...h_key=Procter, Emily

The girl you're talking about was also one of the bad guys on The Pretender besides playing the love robot on Cherry 2000.
Her name is Pamela Gidley.

Besides all that, I enjoyed Melanie Griffith in Working Girl.
So imo, she had a a career beyond Johnson. :)

Heh, guess I need to learn to scroll the whole page through. :D

Astrocloud 06-17-2005 04:23 PM

Ah-HA!

The other one was none other than Melanie Grifith!

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/ar...my_a0158-p.jpg

I fooled you all -except the ones who voted for her.

RoadRage 06-17-2005 07:02 PM

I vote for the real woman. If you think women are high maintenance, just wait until you have to take your female robot in for thorough cleaning and repairs as well as the fashion expenses the robot thinks are necessary to maintain your love.

Won't get any of that sass as long as there's an "off" switch :P

splck 06-17-2005 10:34 PM

bring on the gear oil

Blackthorn 06-18-2005 04:04 AM

I can't vote in this poll because there is no option for BOTH DAMNIT! No seriously who doesn't like the idea of an all worshiping no lip giving no sass raising no demand making always horny robot woman? In the fantasy kingdom I'd like to create I would have serveral of these but the one thing you need to work around is BOREDOM. Life would be very boring with only robots. Sorry but I have to vote for reality in this case. :D

Charlatan 06-18-2005 05:47 AM

There is no need to look further... take the robot.

StanT 06-18-2005 06:15 AM

I like a challenge. No amount of coding could ever equal the stubborness of the real thing.

Now a robot on the side wouldn't be cheating, right?
