The 30 Second Mystery 47 - Where?
There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.
Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged. Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read. Be precise when guessing. Giving too much information is as incorrect as not giving enough. The Case: A man with a large collection of knives skillfully dismembers his victims in a precise manner. The policeknow where the man lives and where he disposes of the dismembered parts, but never question or arrest him. The Mystery: Where does he dispose of the victims and what is the man's profession? |
Deli counter, butcher?
What redlemon said... or Slaughter house worker.
Doctor, and he does transplants, so he puts them in/on other bodies.
shelves and walls, taxidermist
The ground, coroner.
i'm betting on redlemon...
gotta be a butcher |
My guess
Little children, making burgers for the police.
Trash can, Rabbi
Where does he dispose of the victims and what is the man's profession?
He disposes of his victims by eatting them, His profession is a fisher. |

Inside the body. Coroner carrying out the autopsy.
I think they just sew all the parts back into the body cavity when they're done. |
yep, coroner
"victims" "dismembered parts"
The question skillfully avoids references to bodies, humans, animals... He disposes the "dismembered parts" in the trash as he is a barber or hair stylist. |
Clue: The man rarely sees his victims before they die.
mortician, in a coffin.
You guys are all around the answer, but no one has answered both parts correctly in the same post. Yeah, I'm a hard ass. :)
He disposes of his victims by selling them to customers and his profession is butcher.

uh... on customers plates, and a chef.
In the ground, a mortician. (yeah, a variation of what I said earlier... personally I think redlemon's got it)
Gives them to the killers, taxidermist
I really don't want this to change from a fun mystery to a debate on symantics. I was looking for a butcher and the dumpster behind his shop. Frankly your answers were in many cases better and more creative. Since any additional clues would be too leading to be enjoyable, I'm splitting the points between redlemon and micah67.
