Toilet Paper

I'm going to keep this brief, but that should not take away from the significance of this post.

The correct way to load a roll of toilet paper into a dispenser is to put the loose end over the top.

Any deviance from this rule will result in the task of obtaining toilet paper for someone in need being slightly more difficult.

However, this slight inconveniece is cumulative. Many people will not realize this fact and not fix the problem, and by the time they get really fed up by this (usually takes about a week) the roll is almost empty and by this point it seems pointless.

You are more than welcome. Now, I can comfortably poop in your house. Since that is an unrealistic thing for me to look forward to, I expect you spread the word so that someone 7 degrees of Memalvada of whose toilet I happen to be pooping in knows.

Yes, I realized this after an episode of Step-by-Step where Suzanne Summers gets sick for a week and her kids do the housework for her. She shows up at the top of the stairs--hair tangled, nose red-- with a toilet paper roll in her hand saying, "The toilet paper is supposed to roll over the top!"

Ever since then, I have never made the mistake of putting my toilet paper in the roller upside down.

Don't matter. It MUST be over the top, no exceptions. EVER.

Agree whole-heartedly.
Come to think of it, maybe that's partly why toilets are near walls; easier place to screw in the tp holder... good idea for a thread perhaps.

Believe it or not, this thread already exists! However, your reason was slightly incorrect, since it's very easy to have a stand-up toilet paper dispenser. The reason is... well you might just have to read the thread!
