Hosstes Fruit Pie recipe?

A while back I found this reciepe in a magazine, it was called Mr. Food Fast and Easy Cooking. Basically it was a homemade verison of a Hostess fruit pie.

Now I'm going to try and recreate it, from memory. I'm pretty such it is a can of premade biscuits, fruit filling. Spilt a biscuit in half roll it out put fruit on one side fold over and press down with a fork. ANd I beilive brush with melted butter.

I'm wondering, what kind of sugar should I try? I was thinking of powder sugar. And should I cook it for whatever time the biscuit says?

Thanks.

Powdered sugar sounds great for that, and in order to cook the "fruit pies' thoroughly, you should cook them as long as the packaging tells you to.
