There are some stores around here that carry it, and I love it. I think the appeal, however, is the artwork on the outside of the bottles. I was thinking recently about ordering a box of it from the manufacturer, as the stores around here only sell it by the bottle. Anyway, I guess my answer would be "yes, and I like it alot".

Gotta love the orange creamsicle in a bottle. It's like a dessert drink! I'm glad it's gotten more popular, I see it in many more places nowadays.

I never actually found it that tasty. It seemed just too... sweet? I don't know if that's the right word.

I like only a little bit of it at a time, nowhere near a whole bottle. It gets to be too much.

Oh well.

It is sweet, my mom says it has a HUGE celcer water(sp?) type feel, then the xtra flavoring. I love the art work, I think that is what appeals to me the most. Depending on the pic outside, thats what I buy...LOL

I've never even heard of that stuff, but looking at it's page, looks like they have some interesting drinks. Only weird soda I drink is BrainWash.
Anyone know any random store-chains that carry these Jones Sodas though?

Lunds has it as well.

I've even seen it in butcher shops.

i've found it more commonly in up-scale grocery stores than in the basic cub/rainbow/alpha beta stores.

I got that stuff at Sheetz all the time when I lived in Maryland. Green Apple is the best.

Sadly, here in FL I can't find anything except their fruit juice lineup at the Barnes and Noble. It's not bad, but dammit I want a soda.

Jones Soda is a very good family style company.

They have the small company appeal that Nantucket Nectars used to have, when they put a line about someone living in Nantucket on every cap.

Its good soda, we carry it here in the university restaurant I work at. They also ask for photographs to use on their bottles, they are all done by submission, which is very cool.

Only place I can ever find Jones Soda is at Panera Bread around here, but I love getting it every time I go there! Not a huge selection of flavors, but I definitely love the green apple. Anyoine near Chicago know of anyplace else I can find it to try out some other flavors? Panera only has about 5 different flavors if I remember correctly.

Never had it. A lot of my friends love it, but until they get a Diet version of one of their drinks I can buy at Target, I doubt I will drink it. All that sugar makes me sick.

We have them at all the grocery stores around here, and the ice cream shops. I guess there is one nice thing about living in Iowa after all.

Jones soda is good stuff if you are tired of the usual soda flavors, like coke, etc. Where else can you get a Blue Bubblegum flavored sody pop?

And FuFu Berry with Rum is the best thing I can think of to get a drink on with!

I should have replied to this thread 2-3 years ago, for that was the time in which I discovered Jones Soda (2005-ish).
I was the sole consumer of this brand for the first five months my local grocer carried them, so said a few stockies that worked there. It would have been discontinued had it not been for my frequent trips for more bottles and 12-pack cans. They were fantastic.

Orange & Cream Soda - pretty good; reminds me of the "Orange Julius" signature drink, which is heavenly. 7/10.
Ginger Ale - I expected better from Jones Soda than this ginger ale. I'd have hoped for more natural ginger flavour. 5/10.
Black Cherry Soda - Not bad, but has too much of an artificial flavour. 6/10.
Blue Bubble Gum Soda - Okay, but I was hoping for even more sweet bubble gumminess. 6/10.
Green Apple Soda - Bit too tart for me. 4/10.
Cream Soda - Great. Nice smooth flavour. My favourite of the bunch. 8/10.

My current choice consumption: Twisted Lime

Holy old thread.

I used to buy the sugar free black cherry. Loved it. But you can't drink it with food. It's like a dessert. Wasn't too hot on the green apple.

I just gave my 11 year old son the gears for going to the convenience store to buy a bottle. He went with $5 bought a bottle of Jones orange, and a pack of Reeses Peanut butter cups. He got back pennies in change.

Sat him down and had a discussion about the cost of things at the convenience store, and how going to the Valu-Mart (grocery) just at the corner, he would have paid a lot less.

His argument was that there was no Jones at the grocery store. I basically said that pop is pop, he could have bought orange crush, or sprite, or anything, it's all the same. The Jones stuff just pretties up the package to make you part with your money.

With the same money, he could have bought 2 orange crushes and the 3 pack of peanut butter cups at the grocery.

Later, I went to check, and the grocery does carry Jones, but you need to buy it in 12 packs!!

The little kids, they like the bottles.

I beg to differ on the pretties up the package, but I do get the lesson being taught to the child.

Just as a point of difference, Jones Soda uses Cane Sugar which is a lot more expensive than high fructose corn syrup.

I'd agree with you if the products were the same say, Sam's Cola vs. Coca-Cola.

Jones makes some good soda. There's another brand GuS which is also a gourmet/fancy brand.
