Wow Eden, that was amazing. Good work!
|
Good job, Eden.
Dude, I'll wear a blue suit on this adventure if need be. ... I can't wait 'til we pick out roommates. |
I'll be going solo, no room mate for me thank-you. Tying a sock to the door or finding one their has never played well in my experience.
|
Sock? Dude, I've got a big yellow hang tag that says, "Fucking in Progress - Do Not Disturb."
'Sides, Tully... you're far more refined than the majority of us whippersnappers. I'm still at the age where I wanna break shit and fuck on the floor. |
I knew I was doing something wrong. Sign ya thats a good idea. I know a printer down here. Wonder what the maid would think as she reads "Don't bother us, we're fucking?"
And who says I don't want to break stuff and fuck on the floor? What? You think there's a expiration date for that stuff? Like when you hit 40 the only interest you have is what time bingo and shuffleboard starts. Now excuse me while I find out what Denny's early bird special is today. |

... I kinda hope there's an expiration date on my sex drive. It's really keeping me from my other hobbies. |
Of course, why else check out the special?
|
I didn't mean to imply that you have no desire to bang wenches, Divemaster Dan... just that you'd probably prefer to do it one-on-one using a mattress as the fuck surface instead humping of atop a broken coffee table covered with empty beer cans and other people watching.
... I'm going to need to make a Mix CD for this cruise. I want to wake up to "Welcome to the Jungle" at 0800. |

But yes if you're going to break coffee table and shit do so in your stateroom.. I ain't paying for shit busted up by other people. If I damage anything it'll be a headboard... and it'll have been worth it. 0800? I'm up by 0430 most days, on trips I sleep in another hour. So you let me know what wake up music you want and I'll have it ready for ya. "Welcome to the Jungle?" I made a point of listening to that as I crossed out of the highland desert near central Mexico and into the jungle. Woke my dogs up but I don't think they got the meaning at all. I'm looking for a CD of band that played on the beach here the other night. Bunch of AC/DC, Kid Rock, The Stones, Eminem etc.. all in Spanish. They were either good or I had just the right about of rum in me. |

... Okay, so I've got my outfit prepped... my passport... my Giant Wad 'O Cash... and... umm... I'm missing something. Should I buy a bunch of that Dramamine stuff? I mean, I'm not expecting The Perfect Storm action, but I had a friend that went to Greece and spent time on one of their smaller "cruise ships" and apparently it was like churning in Satan's stomach. I remember getting airsick in A-stan on a CH-47 once. |

Personally worse storm I ever hit in the Navy was off the coast of Washington state. One minute you're walking on the deck, then the bulkhead and back to the deck. Had been literally around the world and the worst weather I ran into was 500 miles from my hometown. I've never been sea sick ever. |

I would buy a box just in case. If you get really bad you can call the ship's doctor and he will give some to you, but that's for when you are REALLY sick. I'm like tully, I don't get seas sick and I went through some really rough waters when I was on the ship. Better safe than sorry tho. |

Hey, I just Google'd the Sea-Bands thing. Great idea, Redlemon. I dislike taking pills and a funky wrist band would be a great alternative.
I don't envision having any problems, but my inner Boyscout is telling me to Be Prepared. |
Seasickness is in your head. That is to say, it's 99.99% mind over matter. The people who are the sickest at sea are the ones who sat around before departure yakking about how seasick they were going to be. If it turns out, Crompsin, that you are one of the .01% that this doesn't apply to, and you find yourself getting queasy, a warm tunafish milkshake would be just the thing to get you over that initial "am I going to barf?" stage...
|
...but I love tuna.
