TV Shows and their DVD transitions.

which are you looking forward to?

self, Night Gallery (seasons 2, 3, and the specials); Flinstones (Seasons 3-6), and the Walt Disney Treasures collections.

maleficent 01-02-2005 06:03 PM

fhqwhgads 01-03-2005 11:03 AM

amonkie 01-03-2005 08:11 PM

Who's Line is it Anyways

skinnymofo 01-03-2005 09:10 PM

I think they need to make some Daily Show DVD's
i realize they cannot do seasons but they can do like the 20 best shows of a certain year.
i dont see it happening though :(

gonad 01-04-2005 12:29 AM

Definitely Scrubs. And it's a long shot, but you remember the cartoon MASK? I'd love to have that on dvd.

Cynthetiq 01-05-2005 11:48 AM

at the current rate they are superimposing advertising to the bottom 1/3 of the screen....

I think that I'm going to start watching more series on DVD in the future so that it's unadulterated from commercials and popups.

sailor 01-05-2005 03:50 PM

Scrubs. Thats really it, its the only TV show that I actually watch.

dX927 01-08-2005 05:42 PM

I'm really looking forward to the Fraggle Rock Season Set they're supposedly releasing in the Fall. I'm still a big kid lol.

And I really hope they will eventually re-release the first season of ALF on DVD. The version that came out in August was the syndicated versions of the episodes. I hope someday to have the uncut original versions in my collection without having to buy them off of eBay.

MahlerIsGod 01-08-2005 08:11 PM

I don't know how many online petitions I have signed but they need (Need!!!!) to release Space: Above And Beyond on DVD!. Posthaste!

sgn43 01-08-2005 09:38 PM

are there actually plans set for a Scrubs DVD? I'm patiently awaiting its release, but I'm not getting my hopes too high for it.

soccerchamp76 01-09-2005 12:42 AM

Along with so many other toy-based 80's cartoons.

I am waiting for the Twin Peaks season 2 DVD as well. Have you heard anything about when they might release it? I believe it was released in Europe a while ago. I used to have season 1 on VCR and the quality was horrible. I hope they release a 2 season set on DVD.

When I lived in Seattle I used to ride my Harley to Snoqualme and North Bend all the time. It is only about 30 miles away. They used to have a Twin Peaks festival there every year or so. I even met the log lady there once, LOL.

IMHO, that was one of the most entertaining shows on TV. The owls are not what they seem.

keyshawn 01-13-2005 10:56 AM

i'm patiently waiting for all of the nickelodeon shows from the 90's: rocko's modern life, adventures of pete and pete, hey dude, etc.

Plus

mama's family
Freaks and geeks [it's out, though I probably won't scrap up the money for it for a while]
Frontline - PBS [do they count ?]

FYI: .tvshowsondvd.com is the place I go to check if and when they're coming out.

the only show i own now is chapelle's show [due to its $10 price on day after thanksgiving] and i'll eventually get a few of the simpsons, most likely.

Chingal0 01-14-2005 12:05 AM

Chapelle's show season 2

Bauer_Power 01-14-2005 12:34 AM

I can't wait till the 4th or 5th season of married with children where Al really starts hating his life. Also, very happy that in living color is out.

TheWalkinDude 01-14-2005 08:52 AM

Another one for Twin Peaks season 2. Surely it can't be much longer...? ....right?

Also Six Feet Under series 3, which we're getting in a few months here in the UK
