The Grudge
Saw the original japanese version last night; creepy and dark just like The Ring and I wonder if anybody else saw that movie. (Ju On - The Grudge)
Anyway, here's the link for the preview of the american version starring Sarah Michelle Gellard. By watching the trailer, looks almost the same thing to me. Enjoy http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/thegrudge/ or http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf...578511&intl=us |

I will repeat myself: See Ju-On, the first one. The TV movie.
It gave me nightmares and I love horror/splatter, so I'm used to that kind of stuff. The Ring was "bleh" for me, but Ju-On? "OMFG! PLEASE RIP MY EYES OUT AND BLEACH MY BRAIN!" See it.

Haven't seen 2 but 1 is beautiful, it's great to see actors actually reacting to disturbing things like you'd expect to in the real world, you know, falling over screaming convulutedly and losing control of their bodies. Actually getting the fuck scared out of them. None of this "AHHH!" then turn around and run shit.
I'm going to see One Missed Call this Saturday, I hear it's just as scary but in more of a Ringu way. |
